Residenzbahn: Rail Partnership Model
As one of the first major infrastructure projects of Deutsche Bahn, the Residenzbahn project is being implemented as a "rail partnership model". Last Thursday, Deutsche Bahn and the alliance partners – OBERMEYER Group and Schüßler-Plan, LEONHARD WEISS GmbH & Co. KG, Rhomberg Sersa Rail Group and REIF Bauunternehmung GmbH & Co. KG, as well as Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau AG – signed the corresponding multi-party contract. An initial joint workshop was held to align our collaboration for the future.
The goal of the Partnership Model is to accelerate processes by involving all alliance partners early on. Instead of a bilateral contract with a single contractor, a multi-party contract is concluded.
