In the course of the construction of the 380-kV-power supply line from Vieselbach to Altenfeld in the Thuringian Forest south of Erfurt, micro pile foundations were carried out for the foundations of the power poles at positions 77 and 98.

For this, 42 GEWI 50 mm (threaded bars) with double corrosion protection and individual lengths of 12.5 m with a bore diameter of 178 mm were built. The real challenge of this project lay in the logistics and the supply of equipment and material, since, according to the planned alignment, the power poles were located in open or wooded terrain.
