The rehabilitation of a 110 m long section of the sheet pile wall of the town harbour was carried out from the water from a pontoon with 54 injection (micro) piles type GEWI d= 50 mm with standard corrosion protection and a length of 11.50 m at a 6.0 m injection.
Only after the new walers were installed and the injection piles fixed, were the old walers dismantled, the old anchors shortened and the holes in the sheet pile wall closed.
The order further comprised the replacement of a bollard with respective foundation and six GEWI-piles to transfer the compressive and tensile forces below the harbour floor.
